This is a Calanthe hybrid I acquired a couple of years ago when the national mail order nursery ( Thompson & Morgan) were selling them off cheap at the end of the season. ( We like a good bargain ;D). Perfectly hardy and don't seenm to mind being below the staging. Watering is as for a 'normal' house plant. I must be doing something right as I suddenly have inflorescences sprouting up on all the plants.

Interesting one. Do you grow them in your garden or in a greenhouse?
Best regards, Dani

These plants are doing very well, they have multiplied very satisfactorily in an unheated greenhouse.

A second clone of the Calanthe x T&M. This one has more subtle colouring and is proving more floriferous than the other clone this year.
