A cloudy day, not as much rain as forecast.

Minimum air temperature 18.5C (65F)



Maximum air temperature 24.6C (76F)
The half tray peaked at 3.30PM @ 23.9C (75F)

A dull cloudy day, some overnight rain, nothing heavy.
Minimum air temperature 16C (61F)



Maximum air temperature 23.1C (73.5F)
The half tray peaked at 3.30PM @ 22.2C (72F)


I thought I'd better recap the positions of the thermometer probes so here it is.

August 26th

A dull cloudy start brightening up later.
Minimum air temperature 16.5C (61.7F)



Maximum air temperature 26.8C (80F)

The half tray peaked at 3.30PM @ 23.8C (75F)

Quite a bright sunny day.
Minimum air temperature 15C (59F)



Maximum air temperature 26.2C (79F)
The half tray peaked at 3PM @ 24.5C (76F)

I was measuring up to make a couple of frames for the thermometers. The white ones are bigger so I'll have to replace them when the latest order of black ones arrives.

Mainly sunny, some cloud later.
Minimum air temperature 16.2C (61F)

The half tray peaked at 2PM @ 23.8C (75F)

A sunny day, very little cloud.

Minimum air temperature 14.2C ( 57.6F)



Maximum air temperature 25.3C (77.5F)
The half tray peaked at 3.30pm @ 23.4C (74F)

A sunny morning with light cloud, clouding over late afternoon.

Minimum air temperature 16.1C (61F)



Maximum air temoperature 26.3C (79F)
The half tray peaked at 3pm @ 23.8 (75F)

August 31st

A bright but cool day, it started off cool and didn't get that much better.
Minimum air temperature 12.8C (55F)



Maximum air temperature 21C (70F)
Temperatures were very slow to rise and dropped very early.
The half tray peaked at 2 pm @ 18.8C (66F), however, at that time the Junior colony was peaking at 19.3C (67F).
An odd day for readings.

September 1st

A bright day but still very autumnal, warmer temperatures forecast for later in the week, meanwhile it's good for running marathons.

Minimum air temperature 11.5C (52.7F)



Maximum air temperature 21.3C (70.3F)
Note that the half tray is currently not catching up with the larger trays during the day.
Othello must have the most sheltered position, it's retaining heat better than the others.

September 2nd

A cloudy start, cool wind. No significant temperature rise until mid afternoon.

Minimum air temperature 13.5C (56.3F)



Maximum air temperature 24.6C (76.3F)
The half tray peaked at 5PM @ 20.9C (69.6F) which was matched by Othello an hour later.

A bright sunny start, cloudy mid afternoon then sunny again.

Minimum air temperature 16.2C (61.2F)



Maxcimum air temperature 23.6C (74.5F)
The half tray never caught up with the larger trays in the top greenhoiuse. Othello remained the highest all day peaking at 22.8C (73F)

A warm sunny day.
Minimum air temperature 15.8C (60.4F)



Maximum air temperature 27.5C (81.6F)
The peaks were as on the photo.

For the next couple of days we're forecast rain and much lower temperatures.
