Does anybody has Allen´s cp lists from 2009-2010 and 2010-2011? I have the newest one (2011-2012) from him and i asked him for his older lists but he answered that he doesn´t keep the older lists anymore. I would like to compare the lists to see which seed is relatively fresh.
It would be great if somebody could help me.
Many thanks in advance,
Daniel

Allan has great tubers, but I didn't get good germination from seeds I bought so I understand your doubts. Don't have the old lists handy but listed species in the seed department are mostly the same every year (and quite expensive). I'll see if I can find the old lists...

Hi Marcel,
i´m mainly interested in seed from south America (hirtella complex) but also some south african species and perhaps even some australian Utricularia. You are absolutely right, they are very expensive but if they would germinate it would be great. In the past i had not a good germination rate with seed from Allen, in most cases even nothing germinated. That´s the reason why i would like to compare the lists.
So it would be very nice if you could find the old lists.
Many thanks,
Dani

Hey Folks, I too agree...any seed from Allen that myself and many others have had never germinates OR when it does, it's not the species you bought. And...i'll leave it at that.... Happy Growing, Brian
