Hi! A photographer friend of mine in coming to visit me in Ocala, FL. He would like to take pictures of carnivorous plants. Do you know good places to do that? Pictures in their natural environment would be best. Also can we go to a nursery to take pictures or would that be inappropriate?
Thank you! Erika

Hello,
Unfortunately, most CP are asleep this time of the year, unless you head up to the Panhandle. There, Pinguicula are beginning to flower. Locally, you may find some of the usual; D. brevifolia, D. capillaris and P. pumila. Look for the sandy, wet areas near palmetto/pinewoods.
Otherwise, Longleaf Pine Preserve may be your best bet in Volusia Co. March is when things will be "popping' again... ;D
Happy Growing,
Brian.

Thank you Brian, actually my trip will be at the end of March. I will be driving around south Florida, I won't be able to visit the Panhandle With these additional information, can you think of any specific place I could go check out?
