My biggest pitcher so far! Nepenthes eymae - that ugly face for size comparison! ;D Pitcher is 32cm tall. The plant is hanging in front of my window at usual room humidity of 40 - 60%. And here´s a brandnew picture of ME! ;D Ain´t I sweet?! Greetings, Andreas

Brian, I´ve got this plant as N. eymae from Wistuba in 2001. But there are rumours that these plants are not the real N. eymae! It is considered N. eymae is nothing but an extreme location form of N. maxima anyway. But these N. maxima hybrids look all more or less similar, don´t they? Probably only cuttings taken from the original specimen taken for description are showing the typical wine glass shaped upper pitchers. I think I have seen lower pitchers of the original N. eymae on Ch´ien C. Lee´s website and those seem to be much squatter then the very tall pitcher of my plant. Very sad indeed! I´m curious what the upper pitchers of my specimen will look like... *Cough* Me sniffing on Nepenthes flowers? There´ve been too less occasions for that so far! ;D But I confess I´m addicted to the nectar the pitchers secrete (not to talk about the drug like feeling Heliamphora nectar cause...). ;D Heee-haawww, heee-haaaawwww! Andreas
