Hey Everyone, I've been experimenting with macro photography and so far my results are fairly decent. Hi Max, lovely photos! I like the play with the focused parts and the strong unsharpness around. Very interesting technique! I once considered to try photographing through my magnifier (8x) but so far I have no idea how to fix the small magnifier on the lens of the camera. I guess, I´d need to fix the magnifier on a separate stand and move the camera towards the magnifier. Hm... Best regards, Andreas

Andreas,
I have taken some wonderful photographs of my magnifying lenses over the years, but the subject I was magnifying remained elusive and blurred. ;D
Take care, Steven Stewart

I see!
So, using a magnifying lens in front of the camera lens is wonderful for getting abstract paintings!
;D

Andreas

Thanks All!
Everytime I've used a magnifying lens I've gotten the same results as you, I've gotten some pretty cool ones though.
