Trip Report - Gasquet, CA - Part 3

About a week ago I headed to the Gasquet area of Northern California in search of Darlingtonia californica, Pinguicula macroceras, and Drosera rotundifolia.

Site 5

This site was a boggy seep located right alongside a highway, Darlingtonia californica, Pinguicula macroceras, and Drosera rotundifolia were all present.

















Site 6

This site was located on both sides of a popular hiking trail in Northern Gasquet. Only Darlingtonia californica was present.

Hi Max,

really great pictures, fore sure you have had a few very interesting days there.
Very interesting to see Darlingtonia, P. macroceras and D. rotundifolia in nature.

The first sspecies of my temperate Pinguicula have also started to flower these days after the weather here has got much warmer.

The pictures of your other posts are also very interesting.
