Hi Friends, Since Spring has sprung, I couldn't resist taking some Drosera macro shots to celebrate the new growing season! Here's wishing everyone a happy, fruitful and prosperous new growing season. I hope you enjoy the pics... Happy Growing, Brian. Here's Drosera leucoblasta 'Brookton' and... Drosera dichrosepala I've discovered that this variant's flowers stay open at night and are scented with a jasmine- type smell... Here's a lovely Drosera petiolaris-dilatato hybrid... And last but not least, Drosera trinervia...

Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh....what a sight! Brian, spring has finally arrived central Germany, too and today it´s a great warm spring day and I´ll rush into nature in a couple of minutes! My pygmies also celebrate a flower show and I´ll go on taking pictures from tomorrow on. I´m expecting first flowers of Drosera spilos to be open. Unfortunately I´ve lost Drosera walyunga in my collection, the germinated gemmae have all died - I guess because of the warm temperatures the T5 lamps radiate. Additionally I think I´ll have a nice surprise for all of you, too. At the end of April we´ll probably know more! ;D Happy growing! Andreas

Thanks, Max and Andy... Good news that Spring has found you! ;D I can't wait to see D. spilos in flower.... And sorry to hear about your Pygmy loss. Let me know when you have D. spilos gemmae, Andy. ;D Oh, anything from the P. planifolia seed yet? Happy Growing, Brian.
