Hi Jeff,
a few weeks ago i´ve tested my P. planifolia and P. lutea, i´ve put them into destilled water. P. planifolia germinated after about 7-12 days, P. lutea after about 14-20 days, P. primuliflora i´ve not tested till now.
After 2 very small leafes have been visible i´ve put them on to milled dead sphagnum, ir works really good.
But sowing on dead sphagnum works too, much better than on peat/sand.
