Hi my friends , these days i´m very happy because my P. planifolia is for the first time in flower , in the moment it´s pushing it´s second flower. The flower is smaller than the flowers of P. lutea, but nearly identical in size with P. primuliflora and bigger than P. ionantha. The plant itself is about 6-7 cm in diameter, a small clone in comparison to Brian´s giant plants. Of course i self pollinated it, i´m very excited to see if it has worked. Here are the pictures: first signs the not fully opened flower, it´s still more white coloured, later it has changed it´s colour the fully opened flower and here is the flower of P. primuliflora, it´s slightely damaged, but i think i´ve pollinated it for the first time successfully without "destroying" the flower and here are some older pictures of P. primuliflora ´Rose´ (the mutant ;D) BTW, P. lutea and P. ionantha are still in flower (new flowers). Best regards, Dani

Thanks Brian, the seed capsules of P. primuliflora and P. ionantha are swollen but i have to wait untill they will open to be sure if it has worked. The seed capsule of my bonsai P. planifolia is slightely swollen too since a few days. The self pollination with P. lutea has worked. These days 3 plants will be in flower, so i hope to cross pollinate them. Best regards, Dani
