Hi fellow CP growers, I'm Les, I live between Bath and Bristol in the west of England. My main interest has been Drosera but this year I'm going to concentrate on Pinguicula and Utricula species, with maybe some more Pygmy Drosera. If you are a NASCAR fan, does that mean you visit Central Florida?
I look forward to hearing of your experiences!
Brian has been quiet lately. He wasn't feeling well just before the new year. I'm sure he will come around soon.

Hi Steven, The last time we were in Florida I think was for the Daytona 500 in 2003. Since then we've been elsewhere on NASCAR trips, but I hope maybe in 2010 I might be back for Daytona. We've also been to Orlando and done all the tourist stuff in Disney. Grandchildren just loved that of course. I've only been growing CP's for two years so not yet taken a trip to see plants in their natural environment. Maybe one day, I'd love to go see Pinguicula growing in the wild or go to Australia. One day maybe. We're in the grips of the longest cold spell I can ever remember, seems like it's been freezing since 1st November. My outside bogs are well frozen so Sarracennia there are looking quite sad and I hate to think what my electricity charges will be for heating my greenhouse  . I think I should retire and move to Florida, you're probably enjoying 80f while we freeze. Thanks for the reply to my post and good growing. Les |
