Hi all, here is one of my favourite mexican species, because the flowers are relatively nice (they are flowering almost year round) and you can grow them all the year by the tray method , they have absolutely no problem with a wetter substrate. I´m growing 3 forms of it, an almost white flowering form from ´Zacapoaxtla, Mexico´, a more colourful and a very colourful form. Their rosettes are also very different. And theoretically it´s a perfect parent for hybrids, i´m growing P. cyclosecta x emarginata, it´s my only hybrid. But i must say that my camera has little problems with the white or nearly white colour. slightely coloured form more colourful form (the smallest rosette) the almost white flowering form from ´Zacapoaxtla, Mexico´ (it has the biggest rosette) and here is the hybrid Best regards, Dani

Hi Dani, Beautiful plants! I really like the white flowered form! I grow P. emarginata x cyclosecta and looks very similar to your hybrid. Good Growing, Max

I must say that I am only interested very little in the hybrids, I prefer by far taxon them with all kinds I thus do not have a flower picture of this hybrid, if I have the next year I would make you .

Thanks , Max, yeah, they are similar, but your plant is even more red than mine. Do you have a picture from the flower? Jeff, i also don´t like hybrids very much, but some of them are really nice. My hybrid was a present from another grower. Perhaps i will try to make some interesting hybrids this season, if i´ll find enough place for them. Best regards, Dani

Max, i wish you nice flowers this season. Jeff, thanks for the offer, but in the moment my place is not enough for much more plants and there are a lot of seedlings that i have to repot into more pots. Best regards, Dani
