And finally HERE I AM! ;D (Never say never! hehe!)Some of you may already know me from CPUK or IP forum - hello Brian, hello Daniel! For those who don´t: I´m Andreas from Paderborn, Germany. No, my surname is NOT Wistuba! I´m 39 years old and growing carnivorous vegetable for 12 years now. My main interests are Nepenthes, Heliamphora, Cephalotus, Darlingtonia, large blooming bladderworts and the following Drosera groups: Petiolariscomplex, pygmies and tuberous ones. I hope I´ll have the opportunity to fly over the "big pond" one day and visit you in Florida. I guess you guys would have a lot to show me! Kindest regards, Andreas

Thank you very much, Brian! Oh, my pygmies mostly don´t show any signs of gemmae yet. I have learnt one thing: Better propagate D. stelliflora every year! Mine are two years old now and of 20 plants only four are still alive to hopefully offer me enough gemmae to keep it in my collection. I´ve also trouble with D. walyunga. They went into stipule buds already at the end of May and haven´t returned into growth yet! So, I´ll most likely lose them! *cry* But...how are yours? As for photos...I have to see if I manage to get useable pics with my bosses digital camera. But they won´t be as good as my old ones made with the analogue Canon. Cya, Andreas

Hey Andreas, Wow, I experienced the same instance with D. walyunga as you have this year! Also, D. Lake Badgerup went dormant and are just coming back. So far I have; D. stelliflora, D. rosacea, D. pygmaea, D. dichrosepela ( I don't know if I spelled that one correctly ) and D. scorpiodes gemmae. More to follow hopefully...It has been a strange year for growing. Happy Growing, Brian.
