Hello Friends, I was quite surprised the other day when one of my containers of Pinguicula planifolia is already putting up spikes. They're a bit early this year and usually wait until the end of December to bombard me with their flower show. Note the clumping habit and multi-crowned plants. The plants are three years old; Happy Growing, Brian.

Hi Brian, funny that your P. planifolia are starting to flower too (like my P. lutea), we really seem to have a climate change. They are looking fantastic. Multi-crowned plants after three years, great. What was your substrate, sorry, i´ve forgotten it? BTW, till now i´ve no germination with them, but you mentioned that it can last sometimes several month. The good thing is that no moss has grown till now too. I´ve tried both substrates, dead sphagnum and peat/sand and high water level. The best grown plants i´ve ever seen. Best regards, Dani
