a part of my indoor setup

Hi all,

i decided to show a part of my indoor setup.

It consists of 4 decks, each deck is 126cm x 48cm, the plants are not growing in terrariums, even not the south American species
There are growing most of my Drosera, Genlisea, terrestial Utricularia and a few Pinguicula.
2 windows are opened for a little bit ventilation, so the min. temperature at night in this room depends of the season. In the moment the temperature there at night is about 15 degree, in winter in some cases it can fall down to 8 degree, but not very often. In deep sommer in the temperatures can reach over 28 degree at night in a few cases, but that´s no problem for them.
Each deck has two tubes, 2x36Watt/865 T8, all plants are growing in square pots.

Additionally to this I have 5 terrariums with a lot of Nepenthes, Heliamphora, Petiolaris-Drosera, epiphytic Utricularia, epiphytic orchids, mexican Pinguicula and of course my outdoorplants.

Hi Dani,
Great setup, Your plants sure seem to like it! Funny how your cat likes the plant water, mine are exactly the same way, they seem to prefer the dirty water compared to the fresh.

It´s really funny that your cats are doing the same.
Outdoors it´s drinking also rain water, but often, when it comes in it directly wants to drink the "dirty water" with salts, algae, dead insects and peat, for sure it must be very tasty, but i have not tasted it till now. ;D

Agoo, you are absolutely right, it´s a D. filiformis “all red“ which is not going into dormacy in winter, but in the moment it´s not very red.

Dani, are those typical 40 watt growlight bulbs or soft-whites you are using for your setup? Your plants have a great color!

Max, your cats are also very cute, Moochie and Sally are a little bit similar to Mira, but i also like Tom.
My grandmother in Bulgaria has had also a cat with this very nice name, Tom, but it was grey/white like Tom from "Tom and Jerry".

Brian, each tube is a Master TL-D 36Watt/865 T8 from Philips, they are not especially for plants. A lot of growers are using 865 and 840 in combination, but in my opinion only 865 is better than a combination.
My plants are not receiving any sun light, only at the morning in summer for perhaps 1 hour and it´s not direct sun light, so the colouration is only from the tubes.
The distance to the lights is about 23cm, in deck 3 it´s only about 13cm because there are growing a lot of seedlings and a lot of south American Drosera.

Agoo, later i will post some older pictures from the interesting flowers in the Drosera section.
But here is one picture i took 5 minutes ago, all in all the plant is not the nicest one, bit it´s about 13-14cm in diameter.

Juan-Carlos, my Heliamphora are growing together with some of my Nepenthes, epiphytic Utricularia and epiphytic orchids in a terrarium.
