A native of the Mediterranean. Brian loves this one. It's the parrot Summer dormant, it sends up it's leaves in autumn (fall). Flowers appear in early spring.

It's a very simple flower but with several inflorescences to a pot it makes a great show. It's easy to grow too and multiplies well. ;D

After that last post I bought more of this "easy" orchid. That winter the plants were struck down with a nasty infection that killed the leaves off. This continued yearly and I tried to save the healthiest ones. This year It's looking more promising as I have two of them in flower and the others still have their leaves. Hopefully the existing ones are resistant to whatever it was.
