Bought some live, red sphagnum moss from Meadowview last fall. The spagnum is now green but adjusted and growing and low and behold there are two sarracenia seedlings growing happily. Here is a picture of one.

Didn't mention it but the really cool thing about the plant in the above picture is its bright orange color. I know it's premature to tell what it will look like later but it looks promising. This is a picture of a seedling that sprouted from a plant I purchased from California Carnivores a couple of years ago. It really is a great thing for nurseries to top-dress their plants with a sarracenia seed or two.
