Hello Friends! After my huge post in the WRONG section of the forums I would like to say thanks to everyone for the help. Now I have another question My Pygmy sundews produced some seeds and me being my not on the top of things self I thought what the heck knock them off and set them in the soil with the same plant.. Boy was that a TERRIBLE idea! Now they are spreading like a wild fire! I would love to take these little dews and move them to a pot so I have many of them ^-^ only one thing... I don't know how to move such a small creature! I have purchased a Sulfur based fungicide from Ortho so no need to help with fungicide! ~~~Justin~~~

Gemmae rather than seed and you may move them with care as they are only just sprouting. Once they have developed a root system of any size, attempting to move pygmies is a good method of killing them. Use a toothpick or similar to lift them. Otherwise, leave them where they are... they don't require much in the way of space.

Looks like a D. scorpidiodes invasion to me! Actually, as Aidan said, they'll be fine where you have them. Just be careful that you don't mix different species together. One problem with pygmy Drosera is the tendency to "slingshot" gemmae everywhere when tapped or struck by raindrops... Pots within close proximity can become tainted with other species quite easily. Although D. scorpidiodes is easy to discern from most, this is not the case with the D. nitidula "complex". Not too wet for those guys, since you live here in Florida! They will rot.... Happy Growing, Brian.

Looks like a D. scorpidiodes invasion to me! Well indeed it is brian but I've come to enjoy the little guys thinking they would be a huge mess I think they would look good with a mix of my fork leaf Drosera and VFTs for the seeds have blown everywhere and are now in every pot I own... Here's the VTF
