Hello All, Once again, I've been going through Charles Darwin's magnificent works including his documentation of pulvini and peduncle relationships within the Leguminosae family. darwin-online.org.uk/content/frameset?viewtype=side&itemID=F1325&pageseq=46Obviously a man of such thorough completeness in all of his works. I must say that I'm quite amazed that no written and dated documentation of such important appendages within the genus Byblis has been published prior to November of 2008, which is the official registration date for Byblis 'Goliath'... Incredible. And Darwin did all of his works and written observations in the 1800's! A true scientist indeed. Happy Growing to All, Brian Barnes, May 11, 2009.
