Hello Friends! Spring is coming soon, so I thought I'd post some decent macro shots of one of my "winter growers" here in Florida, before they go to sleep for the Summer... Introducing.... Drosera cistiflora! ;D Happy Spring to All, Brian.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the compliments. It is truly one of my favorites... Too bad it dies back to the roots each Summer. I'd love to grow it year-round. Happy Growing, Brian.

Thanks for the compliments, Francois. ;D Jeff, this species dies back to the roots when temps hit 80-85F for extended periods. It behaves for me as a strict Winter grower and comes alive again from the roots when our first cold weather appears... During it's Summer dormancy, I keep the pots damp and shaded, but never on the water tray. When growth and Fall returns, it's kept very wet. Mine are already dying back, since we had a warm front to where temps hit the 84F mark for a few days. It seems to enjoy a half peat, half perlite mix. Happy Growing to all, Brian

80°F= 26°C it's exact ? the ideal temperature are 5°C to 20°C for them , no ?
have you try with this substrat : 90% river sand 10% blond peat ? have you try also leaves cutting ?
