Hi Brian, congratulation, really very nice flower and very interesting species because of the it´s 2 different formed leafes. How big is the basal rosette in diameter? Yesterday i saw also the post from Sockhom on ip-forum and CPUK. He received the plant from Gert as a D. cistiflora, i received the same plant. When i received it 2 months ago it was producing the longer leafes, but after repotting it looked not very healthy and it started to produce much shorter leafes. I decided to take some leafcuttings before i would loose the old leafes and it worked perfectely, sometimes even more than one plantlett per leaf, you should try it. Now i have about 18 little plants plus the mother plant. Here is a picture from my mother plant (it´s in the moment about 2 cm in diameter) and i hope that it will flower too some day (sorry, it´s not the sharpest). Best regards, Dani

Hello Friends, I hope you enjoy! I would enjoy growing this plant myself! ;D But I´m very happy to know that Dani will give me two or three of his D. alba seedlings PLUS a nice, matured D. tomentosa. Hehehe...perhaps he doesn´t yet know of his incredible luck! But I´m sure I can count on him....hurhurhur... Alright, Dani, after you have recovered from your laughing attack I hope we will be able to seriously talk about a deal! You know I´m not in a hurry...but I also can´t wait for years! Particularly D. alba is a "MUST HAVE" for me and you can´t be so mean and let me starve on not growing it!!! Can you? ;D It´s all your fault when you dare to show those nice piccies publically! Take care! (For the Alba seedlings of course )Andreas

Andreas, i can´t stop laughing. ;D ;D ;D (Brian, we need more emoticons ) It´s always a pleasure to read your posts. Fore sure we´ll find a good solution for you. Brian, is self pollination not possible? Cool, magic touch ;D, of course i´ll try to pollinate it. How dry is your substrate during summer, like for tuberous Drosera or perhaps a little bit more humid? Have i understood it correctely that the first leafes in the season are the short rosetted ones and than the longer upright ones are produced? I´m a little bit wondering why the plant has had these longer leafes 2 months ago when i received this plant and than started to produce this shorter rosetted ones. Is it confused? ;D Many greetings from my D. alba leaf cuttings , Dani

Hello Friends, Dani, I do keep D. Alba drier during the Winter but never bone-dry.... I keep the media barely damp. Andreas, you have good taste in music!! ;D ;D Happy Growing, Brian.
