Hi Brian, very nice flower, smaller but nicer. How many times have you cross pollinated them to get this result? Best regards, Dani

Hi Dani, I would say at least 10 to 12 times between select clones.... I had a good conversation with Allen Lowrie pertaining to this anomaly. Possibly, a pure white form should appear amongst the seedlings, but that may take a while. And of course, there's waiting for the flowers, which takes even longer when you are watching always!! Happy Growing, Brian.

Hi Brian, 10-12 times, not bad. Good job. But does that striped flower mean that someday a white flowered form has existed? Perhaps it could be. Has Allen or somebody else found somewhere in Australia white flowerig forms or forms with white stripes? Till now i have not heard about it and for sure he would have offered them. You have to continue your crossings. Best regards, Dani

Beautiful selection Brian!
I think this is such a new cultivar that a lot of work can be done to help create new selections for future forms. It will be interesting to find out how it performs under different growers conditions. Soil pH, temperatures and hybridization will all play a role in what future Byblis will look like!
Take care, Steve

Wow Brain,
Great work buddy, Thats a great looking cultivar!! Is this the first generation with white stripes, or has the trait gone on to F2 already? Looks like you've got a winner there!! An alba flowered cultivar could definitely be in the works there, which would be very neat!!
Warmest Regards and Happy Growing, -Jc Miami, Fl

Hey JC, Actually, this is the first clone with the traits. I'm hoping for F-2! I think a pure white form is just around the corner... Happy Growing, Brian.
