The top bract pitcher on the Heliamphora ionasii flower stem. The pitcher is small and immature lacking a spoon. The lowest bract however is a mature pitcher.

Fred, Some day someone like you will get a plant from an inflorescence that does that. I have tried, but I didn't have the magic touch.

Beautiful! I love Ionasii, my plant has flowered but I didn't get any pitchers on the inflorecense.
How did you try to root it Steve? I would suggest an air layering type of wrap on it with a semi strong dilution of rooting hormone.
