Hello Everyone!
I'm new to this forums and C.P. I've had answers to other of my questions from other forums but someone also turned me to this one since I live in Florida ;D So what I have is two V.F.T., Two Purple Pitchers, and a Nep. I know it's dormancy for the V.F.T. and pitcher plant but I bought them a month ago and I can't seem to trigger dormancy! They look nice and healthy though! I've been wondering how I could trigger there dormancy or can I just stick them in the fridge (I know how too) right now? Any help would be awesome thanks!

Hi Justin, DO NOT bring your S. purpurea and flytrap plants inside at all! Both of your plants can take it down to freezing temps quite easily. The cold temps/shorter days will eventually slow down their growth and trigger dormancy. The Nepenthes can only take it down to 55F safely. Best to bring it inside to a sunny windowsill. Then, the key will be not keeping any of them too wet and waterlogged. Happy Growing, Brian.

Thanks for the advice but we haven't gotten and cold days in West Palm yet, so could I just put the V.F.T. and the Purple Pitcher in the fridge now? ~~~Justin~~~
